Flash Fiction Friday!



She leant back into the leather armchair, enjoying the coolness against her bare legs. Her partner was only moments away, and she was buzzing with the excitement of her little surprise. The fur coat she wore covered her naked skin in infinite warmth. She was going to enjoy this evening. She heard steps outside the door, the turning of a lock, the jangle of keys. He shuffles in, overcoat wrapped tightly against the Moscow cold. He fiddled with the buttons and the matching belt, hanging it loosely on the peg by the door. 'Anna my love, I'm ho...' he stops at the sight of his woman, wrapped in the chinchilla fur coat that she wore at almost every outing. Her legs, smooth and glistening in the winter sun, perched on the edge of his favourite arm-chair. 'Mikial, I'm glad your home.' She rises from the chair, coat sliding away from the front of her body. 'I hope you like what you see.' 'Well, as my old comrade would put it,' he threaded his hand through his greying hair, marvelling at the sight of the young lady in that thick, fur coat. 'the Iron Curtain has well and truly fallen.' She chuckles at the old world remark, and reached out for his belt...
